Joe's Pub is The Public Theater's newest performance space. Named in honor of The Public Theater/NYSF's founder, Joseph Papp, the Pub features food, drink, and eclectic entertainment that spans a wide spectrum of cultural and performance styles. Performances are held six nights a week, and the Pub itself is open daily from 6PM to 4AM. Performance times vary. There is a two drink or twelve dollar minimum per person.
Seating for ticket holders is on a first-come, first-served basis. For table reservation information (With Dinner Only. Subject to Availability!) call 212-539-8778. Otherwise, seating is general admission for tables, couches, and at the bar. It is recommended that ticket holders arrive at least 1 hour prior to the start of the performance to locate seats and place drink orders. The Pub is an intimate room with only 150 seats. Patrons may be seated at tables with other patrons.
The Pub opens as a lounge, which includes food service and a full bar service at 6PM.
