Camp, A New Musical Summary

Ever been to summer camp, or wish you’d had the chance? Then it’s time to pack up the kids and take the whole family to David J.V. Meenan’s original comedy smash, Camp, A New Musical. Don’t miss out, be in on the buzz (no bug spray required).

Welcome to Camp Goody Goody, summer retreat for children of the elite run by fading socialite Madame Tres Faux (Kelly Ross) who is thrust into emergency mode with her trusty counselors, when, just a day after opening, the forbidden, less fortunate camp across the lake mysteriously burns down. She offers to take in the hooligans from this less-than-upscale establishment as a goodwill gesture, which leads to plenty of comedic antics, unexpected tensions and surprising twists. Camp is a wonderfully entertaining, fun, fast-paced musical comedy the whole family will enjoy.

With more than 20 songs and a cast of 24, you will be singing the score long after the curtain comes down.

"This riotous, non-stop musical comedy with an uplifting message is the camp you wish would never end!"

"It’s family-friendly, laugh a minute fun; full of can’t stop humming songs and spirited performances"

"Kelly Ross delivers high-haired hysterical guffaws as Madame Tres Faux" - Lori Draz, The Journal
