Access Into Theatre:
Theatre is not completely wheelchair accessible. There are no steps into the theatre from the sidewalk. Please be advised that where there are steps either into or within the theatre, we are unable to provide assistance.

Shubert Audience Services
The Forrest Theatre provides accommodations for patrons who are blind, deaf, partially sighted, and/or have hearing loss. The theatre provides infrared assistive listening devices for every performance at the theatre. In addition, hand-held audio description devices and hand-held captioning devices are available, and there is unlimited access to downloadable audio description and/or captioning for personal mobile devices free of charge. (Hand-held devices are limited, although additional devices can be obtained with at least twenty-four hours’ notice.) There is also a representative at the Shubert Audience Services kiosk at every performance to assist any patron with any of our devices, software, or technology

Orchestra (first level)
The Orchestra has no steps.
There are 4 wheelchair locations: Y2, Y23, Y27, Y115
There are 9 transfer locations: R27, R28, T1, T2, T28, T29, V29, V101, V114

Mezzanine (second level)
The Mezzanine is up 2 flights of stairs consisting of 30 steps. The entrance to the Mezzanine is between the Front Mezzanine and Rear Mezzanine. There are approximately 2 steps between each row with a handrail on each step.
There are 9 transfer locations: Front Mezzanine E101, E114, Rear Mezzanine Section A A1, C1, Rear Mezzanine Section B A1, Rear Mezzanine Section 2 C1, C12, Rear Mezzanine Section E A1, C1.

Assistive Listening System:

Available at the theatre at no charge. Drivers license or ID with printed address required as a deposit.

Loop technology is also available at this theatre.

Restroom:

There is a wheelchair accessible restroom. Restrooms are down 1 flight of stairs from the Orchestra. Restrooms are also in the Mezzanine. Gender diversity is welcome here. Please use the restroom that best fits your identity or expression. Water fountains are in all restrooms except the men's Mezzanine restroom.
