Gudrún, a young Icelandic woman has a dream about deep purple plums ready for harvest in New York City. This leads her on a pilgrimage to New York City in hopes of find meaning behind her dream. Through her desperate attempt to make sense of her vision, Gudrún loses a grip on reality, and experiences a fantastic journey woven between fact and fiction, madness and reality. On stage, Gudrún interacts with countless two-dimensional characters projected onto a screen behind her, creating a beautifully surreal environment and bringing the production to life.
