Dirty Tricks Summary

Set on the eve of Nixon’s resignation—thirty years ago this August—Dirty Tricks, a play in one act, vividly relives the story of Martha Mitchell, the larger-than-life estranged wife of Attorney General John Mitchell, who took on President Nixon and ultimately brought down the administration that tried to silence her. Judith Ivey (Hurlyburly, Women on Fire) brings the outrageous and opinionated “Mouth of the South” to life.
