After her sold-out six show run at Joe’s Pub in 2005, the most commercially successful solo singer to be identified with the girl group sound, Lesley Gore returns for three more not-to-be-missed performances. Ever Since, her first album in nearly thirty years, melts the iced encasement of the era and two dozen hits that began her career. The album is a current and relevant collection of choice songs sung by an iconic, timeless singer whose voice has matured and richened in a most delicious way. Smoky, quiet, focused, simple and beautifully lethal with a pin spotlight on one of the most undeniable voices of our time. The new album includes re-imagined versions of two Gore classics, "You Don't Own Me" and Academy Award-nominated "Out Here On My Own", and new songs written by national recording artists Mike Errico, Blake Morgan, and Gore herself. Lesley will be joined by Johnathan Ellinghaus on drums, John Turner on bass, Mike Errico on guitars, and Blake Morgan on piano.
