Alto sax great Frank Morgan is one of the living masters of bebop and ballads and Bird's protégé. In this intimate duo with pianist Ronnie Mathews, he celebrates the release of his new HighNote CD "Reflections," as well as the publication of mystery writer Michael Connelly's new novella “The Overlook”, which will be serialized in the NY Times Magazine beginning in September. Detective Harry Bosch is among the thousands of Frank Morgan fans, as you'll see in the very first paragraph of Michael's eagerly awaited new work. "There is no one around who is better on the alto saxophone. What comes out of his horn is soulful, full of fire and timeless. " - Wynton Marsalis
