Bye Bye Birdie Summary

Get ready to PUT ON A HAPPY FACE! Birdie returns in an all new production of the classic Tony Award®-winning musical smash Bye Bye Birdie. The exuberant rock 'n' roll smash hit gets hips swinging again for the first time in almost 50 years.

We, the Members of Conrad Birdie Fan Club #2748, welcome Birdie back in an all-star Broadway production with John Stamos (Albert Peterson), Gina Gershon (Rose Alvarez), Bill Irwin (Mr. Harry MacAfee), Jayne Houdyshell (Mrs. Mae Peterson), Dee Hoty (Mrs. MacAfee), and making his Broadway debut as Conrad Birdie himself, Nolan Gerard Funk. The mania builds at Roundabout's newly renovated Broadway home, Henry Miller’s Theatre.

Join us KIDS in 1960 as our future husband visits to give ONE LAST KISS to Fan Club President Kim MacAfee...on "The Ed Sullivan Show"! He's going off to war, you know. Dial your telephone and tell the gang, because until he says Bye Bye, we've got A LOT OF LIVIN' TO DO.
