Both With Aaron’s Arms Around Me and The Mire deal with the eternal themes of intolerance and bigotry from emigres’ perspective.
With Aaron’s Arms around Me is the story of 2 young women (1 a Jamaican émigré & the other a Russian Jew) struggling with interracial relationships. Love is a universal theater – it has no boundaries & adheres to no creed or color.
The Mire tells the story of an eccentric poetic Russian Jewish Emigree who reels in an Italian-American Lieutenant, only just back from the haunting war in Iraq. She reels men in, gets under their skin, and never relinquishes the debt!
