Same Time, Next Year - The Musical Summary

Same Time, Next Year was a 1975 play by Bernard Slade about two people, married to others, who meet for a romantic tryst once a year for two dozen years. Ellen Burstyn (playing opposite Charles Grodin) received both Tony and Drama Desk Awards. Stan Daniels who won eight Emmy Awards for his work on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Taxi, collaborated with his fellow Canadian and musicalized the show. This will be its American premiere.
