Midsummer (A Play with Songs) Summary

A multi-award winning production and a hit of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Set in Edinburgh, Midsummer is a quirky, charming Scottish romantic comedy from David Greig, one of Scotland’s leading playwrights and featuring songs from Scottish singer/songwriter Gordon McIntyre. It is the story of Bob and Helena, an ill-advised love match and their lost weekend of bridge burning, car chases, wedding bust-ups, bondage miscalculations and horrible hungover self-loathing misery!
